Originally from South Korea, she studied composition at Seoul National University under Professor Chang.

In 2009, she moved to Berlin, where she met many artists who had a lasting impact on her career.
During her Master's degree (2011-2014) in Manfred Stahnke's class at Hamburg University of Music, she found and developed her own style.

Between 2016 and 2019, she studied composition with Mark Andre at the Hfm Dresden and subsequently gave numerous concerts in Germany. Her works have been performed in Berlin, Hamburg, Vienna, Barcelona, Brescia and Seoul.

She was awarded the "2017 Composition Prize" at the Varel Chamber Music Days (Germany).
She is the recipient of a composition grant awarded by the Deutscher Musikrat (German Music Council) in 2022 and 2023.
