Lisa Chevalier began her musical apprenticeship by discovering the piano. While exploring the instrument and musical genres, she soon developed a fascination for the world of film, an influential art form that awakened her sensibilities. This interest in cinema led her to experiment with different links between music and images.
In 2014, she joined the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional d'Annecy in Olivier Militon's class, where she discovered more concretely the different facets of the composer's craft. She explores the electroacoustic world and consolidates her affinity for sounds.
Lisa collaborates on various short and medium-length film projects, experimental, animated and fictional, and experiments with several Virtual Reality projects.
In 2018, she obtained her Diplôme d'Etudes Musicales and joined Gilles Alonzo's class at the Conservatoire National et Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon, where she passed her Master's with honors. In addition to deepening her musical universe, this training enables her to work on different projects and explore a wider range of scenic worlds by collaborating with dancers and instrumentalists.
In 2023, Lisa won the Cinézik prize for best original music for a French short film, at the international Music&Cinema festival in Marseille.
