Estelle RICHARD, principal bassoon ONCT.

After graduating from the CNSMD de Lyon in 2003 and winning the JEAN FRANCAIX international competition in 2004, she joined the Luxembourg Philharmonic and Toulouse Capitole orchestras as principal bassoon.

These strong symphonic experiences have enabled her to play under some of the greatest conductors: Michel Plasson, Yannick Nezet-Seguin, Josep Swensen, Emmanuel Krivine , Tugan Sokhiev, Klaus Makela and, more recently, Tarmo Peltokoski, the new musical director of the ONCT. She also takes part in numerous chamber music concerts and orchestral academies as a teacher, such as the Pablo Casals Festival under the direction of Pierre Bleuse.
