Stanislas Kuchinski

Following musical studies in piano, writing, double bass, pedagogy and conducting, Stanislas Kuchinski became permanent double bassist with the Orchestre de Paris in 2002.
He plays an active role in the orchestra's cultural activities for hospitalized children and adults, performing as a soloist or duo at the Pompidou, Robert Debré and Trousseau hospitals. He is also involved with the IEMN St Jean de Dieu, guiding groups of teenagers with disabilities through musical projects.
He also travels to reception centers for refugees, the socially excluded, and schools in sensitive areas to share musical moments.
He is also a teacher and conductor at the conservatory in Châtillon.
Stanislas arranges, adapts and orchestrates music for original shows in small groups. He has received commissions from the Orchestre de Paris(Napoléon et la Musique, Festival Balkanique, HipHop Mozart, Histoire de l'Enfant d'éléphant ...) and other ensembles and festivals(Une vie de Verdi, Carmen manouche, Butterfly : L'Envol...)
Traditional music is omnipresent in Stanislas Kuchinski's activities as a double bass player, who founded the Bubamara quintet (Gypsy music) and the Tr3s group (South American music), before becoming fully involved in the Sirba octet.
In 2019, Stanislas founded the publishing and production company Kuchmaster Publishing.
