Orchestras 2030" strategy paper
DESCRIPTION
This strategic document is the culmination of two years of intense exchanges between the orchestras' general managers and their teams, the musicians, the elected representatives of the local authorities involved in funding the orchestras, and the DGCA within the Ministry of Culture: all have contributed to this document.
The 23 strategic proposals set out in the document address the public service missions of orchestras: "Create, produce, disseminate and transmit", and the conditions for their implementation. This document offers suggestions that the profession and its institutional partners can seize upon and adapt to their own local circumstances. All are the result of a dialogue nurtured by the many different points of view and the extreme diversity of situations, and relate to their vision of the orchestra of tomorrow.
