Piano Twins

Ludmila Berlinskaya and Arthur Ancelle are two inseparable pianists, a fusion couple on stage and off. Alongside the Orchestra, they will pay tribute to the pianist duo Vitya Vronsky and Victor Babin by playing the Concerto No. 2 composed by the latter, and performing for the first time in France the Concerto for Two Pianos by American composer Dana Suesse, which they had been unable to perform at the time. Extremely famous in the '30s, Suesse was nicknamed "The Girl Gershwin" for her ability to compose both symphonic music and hit songs. Leonard Bernstein was both her contemporary and Gershwin's foremost advocate. The musical West Side Story is probably his most famous composition, most recently adapted to film by Steven Spielberg.
