A talented pianist, flutist and drummer, young composer Lucie Antunes is not afraid of a challenge. Following in the footsteps of her electro-acoustic pieces and her collaborations with choreographers and performers, here she tackles La Fête Sauvage (1976), Frédéric Rossif's superb wildlife film finally restored. For this film-concert, she interweaves the finesse of her writing for Les Percussions de Strasbourg with the intoxicatingly pure loops of Axel Rigaud's electro score. The resulting ode to the telluric power of nature is simply fascinating.
