We open the season with a journey into the vastness of the Scandinavian expanses, where the freshly risen sun is already setting. Glimmers of nightlife, love, passion, traditions and folk dances punctuate the calm and serenity of a silent boreal wilderness.

Major musical figures such as Norwegian Edvard Grieg and Finnish Jean Sibelius rub shoulders here with an authentic Swedish pioneer, Elfrida Andrée, whose sublime music warms and moves hearts as the red sun skims the horizon.
