Élisabeth Jacquet de La Guerre, Trio Sonata No. 4 in G minor, Cantate Judith, Suite No. 2, excerpt from Pièces de clavecin pouvant se jouer sur le violon, Cantate Sémélé

Founded in 1994 by Héloïse Gaillard, the Amarillis ensemble explores European Baroque music with a taste for forgotten repertoires and artistic encounters. Bringing together recorder and oboe, violin and viola da gamba, theorbo and harpsichord around soprano Maïlys de Villoutreys, the programJudith et Sémélé : deux figures en miroir is an opportunity to rediscover the music of Élisabeth Jacquet de La Guerre (1665-1729), a prodigious harpsichordist admired by Louis XIV and one of the few female composers of her time. He will perform both her chamber music and vocal pieces, including the two cantatas Judith and
Sémélé.
